My piano is a forest

Currently reading: The Forest of Wool and Steel by Natsu Miyashita 📚

I love the metaphor of the piano as a living forest, and I’m enjoying the journey of the diffident main character, Tomura, in his apprenticeship as a piano tuner. It’s certainly making me see my own piano in a new light.

Thinking of writing a novel

Manton mentioned NaNoWriMo and that has got me thinking.

A long, steep staircase ascends between greenery and buildings, accompanied by text humorously comparing writing a novel to a challenging climb. A staircase overgrown with plants has a STAIRS CLOSED sign, accompanied by a motivational text about starting new projects. A long, steep staircase leads upward, bordered by green railings, with a thought-provoking message about intentions and perseverance at the bottom. Oranges and other citrus fruits are closely arranged, with a humorous caption below. A crane lifts a large scaffolding structure beside a waterfront, with city buildings in the background and trees framing the scene. A variety of potted plants are arranged on a patio next to a brick wall, accompanied by a motivational caption about nurturing creativity. A couple of ibis birds are interacting near and in a water puddle on a grassy area. Stone steps lead up to a closed path with a STAIRS CLOSED sign, surrounded by greenery and large rocks, accompanied by an inspirational quote at the bottom. A group of birds is perched on a fence near a grassy area with a small body of water, accompanied by the text No more sitting on the fence. NaNoWriMo, here I come! and writingslowly.com.
